Returns prepared in alignment with the plan.

Preparation that starts with the strategy.

Most returns are prepared after the year is over, with whatever the numbers happen to say. We prepare yours knowing what your plan was meant to accomplish, so the elections, documentation, and entity structure on the return support the strategy instead of working against it.

What we prepare.

  • Individual returns, including rental real estate, investments, and side businesses
  • S corporation and partnership returns
  • Multistate returns for owners with income, employees, or property in more than one state
  • Equine business returns, including barns, arenas, equipment, and horse-related assets
  • Estimated tax payments and year-end projections

Already have a preparer?

You do not have to switch. We can coordinate with your current preparer so the strategy is reflected on the return, or prepare and plan together under one roof. Either way, the return should match the plan.

FAQ

Questions clients ask

What kinds of returns do you prepare?
We prepare individual returns, including rental real estate, investments and LLC Sole Proprietorship returns, plus S corporation, C corporation and partnership returns. We also handle multistate returns, equine business returns, farm returns, and estimated tax payments. Every return is prepared with your tax strategy and entity structure in mind.
Do you prepare returns for clients outside Minnesota?
Yes. We work remotely with business owners in several states. As an Enrolled Agent, I’m federally licensed by the IRS to prepare returns and represent taxpayers in all 50 states, and we prepare multistate returns for owners with income, employees or property in more than one state.
What if I am behind on filing?
We can help you get caught up. You’re not alone, and it’s fixable. We pull your IRS transcripts to see what the IRS has on file, then prepare the missing returns. The IRS generally asks for the last six years, and filing before the IRS contacts you usually limits penalties and gives you more options for paying any balance.
What should I do if I get a letter from the IRS?
Don’t ignore it, and don’t panic. Most IRS letters are routine and come with a response deadline. Send us a copy right away through the client portal. As an Enrolled Agent, I’m federally authorized to represent you before the IRS, so we can respond accurately and on time for you.
